About FMTC
Founded in 2005, Fathima Memorial Training College, Mylapore, Kollam -affiliated to the University of Kerala and recognized by the NCTE, New Delhi and the Government of Kerala- has provided a beacon of excellence in teacher education. Celebrating 20 illustrious years of academic distinction and dedicated service, the institution stands tall with a proven track record of producing highly competent, self-motivated, educated, and qualitative teachers.
Students consistently secure University positions, successfully cleared qualifying examinations such as KTET, SET, and NET, and enjoy coveted placements in esteemed educational institutions across Kerala and abroad. At FMTC we offer B.Ed training in 16 core optional subjects: English, Malayalam, Mathematics, Natural Science, Social Science, and Physical Science-fostering a new generation of educators poised to lead and inspire.

About Our Founder
Dr. Janab Haji A. Younus Kunju, Ex. MLA, was a visionary, a philanthropist, a political leader, an able administrator, an industrialist and above all, a humanist. His tireless work had touched thousands of people through his charitable Fathima Memorial Educational Trust and the exemplary institutions under it. His contribution to the industry, education, politics, society etc. are tremendous and noteworthy.
Fathima Memorial Training College, Mylapore, Kollam was established under his able leadership. He has been offered multifarious awards taking into account of his activities in different fields, including 'Lifetime Achievement Award' for educational excellence on 6 June, 2009 from IEDRA, New Delhi for his outstanding contributions in the field of education.
